Endoscopy examinations

From cancer prevention to gastrointestinal  diagnostics: endoscopic examination (endoscopy) is a method for examining the gastrointestinal tract. .

Main procedures carried out:   

• Gastroscopy -  a procedure to look at the inside of the oesophagus (gullet), stomach and

             duodenum  using a flexible telescope. This procedure is sometimes refer to simply as

             endoscopy

• Colonoscopy - a procedure to look at the inside of your large bowel (colon) using a flexible telescope Including polypectomy
• Flexible Sigmoidoscopy- a procedure to look at the inside of the left, lower part of the large colon (large bowel) using a flexible sigmoidoscopy.
